The Medway Business Awards, now in its 28th year, is recognised as the most important business event in the local calendar and winning means recognition for a number years.

Each entry is profiled in the Medway Messenger and there is a lavish gala evening for the finalists in Novermber. This year sees two categories, one for smaller firms with a turnover under £6.5 million and another for larger firms with an unlimited turnover. All companies must be privately owned and run.

There are some entry tips from one of our judges under this site's news section and remember all entrants are judged equally. Your business rates must be paid to Medway Council and have traded for a year to 1 January 2012.

Please note there is no category for charitable status organisations.
