The Medway Business Awards, now in its 27th year, is recognised as the most important business event in the local calendar and winning means recognition for a number years on.

Each entry is profiled in the Medway Messenger and there are prizes and a lavish gala evening for the finalists at the St.George's Centre, Chatham Maritime. There are some entry tips from one of our judges under this site's news section and remember company size doesn't matter. Single proprietors to the larger firms are welcomed and judged equally. The only qualification is an annual turnover of no more than £6.5 million, that your business is in the Medway Council rates area and you must have traded for a year to 1 January 2011.

This year there is an additional prize to be won from the Rochester Bridge Trust for a company in the engineering or technology industries which actively takes on apprenticeships.

Please note there is no category for charitable status organisations.
